Durablot™ 5×Casein Blocker PBS contains highly purified casein molecules along with proprietary blocking factors, offering superior blocking performance for saturating blotting membranes or other solid-phase surfaces. This effectively reduces background noise, decreases the coefficient of variation (CV), and enhances detection sensitivity. The product is also suitable for blocking other protein-coated surfaces and is compatible with most detection systems.

Application:
Western blot：Dilute to 1× working solution for blocking blotting membranes, diluting antibodies, and preparing enzyme-conjugated secondary antibodies.
Instruction:
Durablot™ 5× Casein Blocker PBS is a 5× concentrated solution. To prepare 1× working solution, mix 1 volume of the 5× buffer with 4 volumes of purified water (e.g., 100 mL buffer + 400 mL water). Shake well before use. To avoid contamination, it is recommended to prepare fresh for each use.
Western blot membrane blocking (Example):
1. Protein transfer and fixation;
2. Blocking: Add sufficient 1× Casein Bloker PBS and incubate at 20–37°C for 15–90 minutes. Blocking at 2–8°C overnight may be better.
3. Detection: Conduct the next experimental step according to the experimental steps.
It is recommended to dilute both primary and secondary antibodies with 1× Casein Bloker PBS for lower background.
