Protein-free Blocking Solution

Protein-free Blocking Solution contains no protein components and is free of any animal‑derived materials. It is specifically optimized for serum antibody detection (e.g., indirect antigen‑coated assays). Containing no protein, the product eliminates inter‑protein cross‑reactivity. It is designed for saturating and blocking polystyrene microplates or other solid surfaces, and is also suitable for blocking other protein‑coated surfaces, making it compatible with most detection systems.
Protein-free Blocking Solution
Protein-free Blocking Solution contains no protein components and is free of any animal‑derived materials. It is specifically optimized for serum antibody detection (e.g., indirect antigen‑coated assays). This solution saturates unoccupied sites to prevent nonspecific binding of serum antibodies to the solid surface, while also protecting against displacement of conventional blocking molecules by interfering substances such as antibodies present in serum or plasma samples. Additionally, it helps avoid cross‑reactions between serum proteins and conventional protein‑based blocking agents. Containing no protein, the product eliminates inter‑protein cross‑reactivity. It is designed for saturating and blocking polystyrene microplates or other solid surfaces, and is also suitable for blocking other protein‑coated surfaces, making it compatible with most detection systems.

Application:
ELISA：Ready‑to‑use for blocking after antibody or antigen coating.
Instruction:
Durablock™ Protein-free Blocking Solution is ready‑to‑use. Allow it to equilibrate to the reaction temperature, then mix well before application.
Microplate Blocking Procedure (Example):
1.After antigen or antibody coating;
2.Wash: Remove unbound protein by washing twice with PBS/TRIS washing buffer (without surfactant);
3.Blocking: Add an appropriate amount of Durablock™ Protein-free Blocking Solution and incubate at 20–37 °C for 30–60 minutes;
4.Detection: Detection: Aspirate (or blot off) the Protein-free Blocking Solution and proceed directly to downstream detection; alternatively, wash away excess blocking solution twice with PBS/TRIS washing buffer (without surfactant) before performing downstream detection.
