The use of Ultra Blocking Solution also eliminates potential interference caused by serum components such as BSA in assay analyses.
Ultra Blocking Solution
Durablock™ Ultra Blocking Solution is a peptide‑based blocking formulation containing chemically modified peptide components. It is designed for saturating polystyrene microplates or other solid surfaces. Through incubation, the unoccupied sites on the microplate or nitrocellulose membrane are saturated with Ultra Blocking Solution, which prevents nonspecific binding of analytes or detection antibodies to the surface, thereby reducing background signals. For many assays, Ultra Blocking Solution serves as a cost‑effective and efficient alternative to BSA‑based blocking solutions. It provides highly efficient blocking for more reliable detection outcomes while maximizing surface coverage and minimizing cross‑reactivity. The use of Ultra Blocking Solution also eliminates potential interference caused by serum components such as BSA in assay analyses.

Application:
ELISA：Ready‑to‑use for blocking after antibody or antigen coating.
Instruction:
Durablock™ Ultra blocking solution is ready‑to‑use. Allow it to equilibrate to the reaction temperature, then mix well before application.
Microplate Blocking Procedure (Example):
1.After antigen or antibody coating;
2.Wash: Remove unbound protein by washing twice with PBS/TRIS washing buffer (without surfactant);
3.Blocking: Add an appropriate amount of Durablock™ Ultra blocking solution and incubate at 20–37 °C for 30–60 minutes;
4.Detection: Aspirate (or blot off) the Ultra blocking solution and proceed directly to downstream detection; alternatively, wash away excess blocking solution twice with PBS/TRIS washing buffer (without surfactant) before performing downstream detection.
